ANJOUAN

Located in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and Tanzania, Anjouan is geographically one of the Comoros Islands. After a long struggle against French rule the island declared unilateral independence in 1997 and is now an autonomous Republic of the Union of Comoros. The new republic’s first law created Anjouan as an offshore centre in 1999. New legislation passed in 2005 enabled the creation of a superior Anjouan offshore finance centre.
Anjouan provides the right environment for clients seeking to incorporate banks, trust and mutual fund companies, captive insurance companies, maritime and aircraft operations, and gaming. Anjouan Corporate Services Limited is the only registered agent in the island.
- Location for IBC-style companies
- Minimal bureaucracy to establish an offshore banking licence
- Unrestricted online gaming opportunities
- Anjouan nominee directors acceptable
