ST KITTS

The tiny two-island nation of St Kitts is located 225 miles east of Puerto Rico and 1,200 miles south of Miami, Florida. St Kitts is a former British Colony which became independent in 1983.
One of the world’s newer financial centres, St Kitts has enacted enabling legislation to allow it to grow into a respected jurisdiction. Taking a back seat from its same-jurisdiction neighbour, Nevis, in terms of volume company formation, St Kitts, with its Merchant Shipping Act, 2002 tends to concentrate more on marine structures.
